Canada Allows International Students to Work 24 Hours Weekly Off-Campus as of November 15, 2024

Minister of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Marc Miller announced that as of November 15, 2024, international students in Canada will be allowed to work off-campus for up to 24 hours per week during academic sessions.
STUDENTS
This change increases the previous limit of 20 hours per week. Full-time work remains permitted during scheduled academic breaks, such as summer or winter holidays.
