Canada’s Home Care Worker Immigration Pilots (HCWP) are now open for applications as of March 31, 2025, at 10 a.m. EDT.

Foreign nationals seeking permanent residence (PR) through these programs can now begin submitting their applications.

Eligibility and Application Quotas

For 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will accept a total of 2,750 applications under each of the two pilot streams:
✅ Child Care Pilot – 2,750 spots
✅ Home Support Pilot – 2,750 spots

Additionally, 140 application spots in each category have been allocated for out-of-status and unauthorized workers already residing in Canada.

Application Timeline

📌 Once the annual cap is met, IRCC will stop accepting applications until the program reopens in the following year.

📌 As of March 31, only applications for the Workers in Canada stream will be processed.

📌 The Applicants not working in Canada stream will open at a later date, with further details to be announced.
